Abstract

This research will analyze the Golkar Party's strategy in the 2024 election with a case study of Airin Rachmi Diany in Banten III electoral district. In researching this issue, researchers used the 4P political marketing blending theory proposed by Niffeneger, namely product, promotion, price, and place. In addition, researchers also used qualitative research methods, with interview techniques by interviewing several sources and strengthened by literature studies and document analysis techniques to analyze the Golkar party strategy. The researcher found that there are various factors that make the Golkar Party and Airin get large votes and get additional seats in this electoral district. These factors are the party platform that is in line with Airin's characteristics and image. Then the image of Airin who has achievements as Mayor of South Tangerang so that he is able to carry out campaign methods with an approach that is in accordance with the culture of the Greater Tangerang community. Airin also has logistics, such as economy, family strength, support from Golkar, and a sufficient image to support the campaign. Lastly, the selection of electoral districts is in accordance with Golkar's strong vote base in the Banten region so that it can smoothen Golkar's and Airin's steps in the 2024 Election.

Yusa Djuyandi, Universitas Padjadjaran

completed his S-3 study at Universitas Padjadjaran in 2016. Currently, the author is a permanent lecturer at the Department of Political Science, Universitas Padjadjaran.
